I initially made this turtleneck for a short film. The original is also pictured. I was using my old method, which was taking the puppet's measurements and plugging them into a human-scale pattern. I also did not use any lining or glue back then! The fit was not ideal and the seam allowances were bulky. I wanted to improve on these issues, as well as move the shoulder seams to a more natural place. I also added a detail to suggest a white undershirt underneath the sleeve. The hem at the bottom and the neck part both turned out better in my original attempt, so on my next attempt I will go back to those methods while keeping the recent fit improvements.
